Job Description: 

About this opportunity...

The Total Store Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Manager to review sales plans at the Total Store level and adjusting based on current sales performance or other external factors such as new store cannibalization or competitor closings or openings.  Track the impact of macro factors such as currency rates and minimum wage increases on store performance.  In partnership with Manager, create solutions that help impacted stores adjust to the changing business environment.  Work cross functionally with Regional Planning to review regional opportunities/risks deeper at a market or store level.  Perform ad hoc reporting/analysis as requested.

What you will do and what you will learn...

•    Review pre-season plans at a total store level to ensure plans are appropriate
•    Track key external impacts – including weather / storms, currency / tourism, etc. – as well as other events that impact store performance – such as cannibalization from new store openings – that could impact store performance (negatively or positively)
•    Monitor sales in-season and adjust if needed based on performance (and taking into account external impacts / other events that impact store performance.  
•    Partner with regional planning to ensure that region plans reflect risks and opportunities at the store and / or market level
•    Partner with other operational functions (e.g., store operations, allocation, supply chain) on a regular basis to support execution of store level plans
•    Partner with Location Planning to review lower-level plans based on callouts received from store managers and other executives

What you need to be successful...

•    Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent required
•    Minimum of 3 years of previous work experience; corporate/ business planning experience required
•    Advanced Excel knowledge
•    Strong Organizational Skills
•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills
•    Demonstrated decision making skills
•    Strong verbal and written communication
•    Ability to work in a high-pressure environment; be flexible to the changing needs of the business

The base pay range for this role $98,000.00 to $110,000.00. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
