Job Description:

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Analyst, Process Improvement is an individual contributor role responsible for the design, enhancement, support, and ongoing modernization of business critical, data driven tools and reporting solutions that enable the Allocation organization. The role applies technical expertise and business knowledge to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and decision making.

This position independently analyzes complex business problems, interprets ambiguous requirements, and determines appropriate technical approaches using established technologies, including Excel (VBA and advanced functions), Microsoft Access (macros and queries), and SQL Server. The Analyst exercises discretion and judgment in balancing speed, quality, risk, and long term maintainability when delivering solutions.

The Analyst works both independently and as part of cross functional project teams, partnering closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical peers. In addition to project delivery, the role is accountable for maintaining and supporting production tools, resolving defects, improving performance, end to end designs and reducing technical debt. The position requires continuous learning to adopt new tools, methods, or technologies as business needs evolve.

Planning and Organizing
•    Independently scope assigned work, assess complexity, and estimate effort and timelines for projects and enhancements.
•    Plan and prioritize personal workload in alignment with business priorities and project commitments.
•    Balance project deliverables with ongoing production support and operational requests.
•    Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies, and proactively communicate concerns or needed adjustments.
•    Recommend alternative technical approaches when appropriate to manage risk, cost, or timing.

Communication
•    Collaborate with business partners, project managers, and technical team members to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
•    Translate business needs into clear technical designs and explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
•    Provide regular updates on work progress, risks, and outcomes.
