About this opportunity...
Become part of our Fall Buying Internship at Ross. During this two-week program, interns work alongside expert buying teams and gain first-hand experience of what it is like to be a Buyer at Ross. Participants gain hands-on experience in both the office and the market, learning how to buy brands customers want at great values. Successful interns may have future full-time opportunities available after completing the internship. Hourly rate: $22.00.
What you will do and what you will learn...
Observe the administrative and operational functions supporting a designated Buyer. Analyze and interpret key business issues including merchandise reports, Open-to-Buy monitoring, and stock analysis. Attend market appointments and competitive shopping trips. Learn merchandising systems and gain understanding of warehouse processes. Develop product knowledge through competitive shopping, shopping Ross stores, and market exposure.
What you need to be successful...
